Yesterday marked a year since it happened. And I don't think any of us forgot it. Light a candle for Joie to show you'll never forget her.

[limegreen]I actually didn't think about it until right before I went to bed. I knew there was something about the date that was important, but it eluded me until just then.
But I don't think that's a bad thing. We don't need to feel sad, even though it hurts. We should take that pain and turn it into something good. All too often, people look to the past for mistakes and for sadness, when the only way we can become better people is to make use of all the good memories and perfect moments.
I haven't lit a candle yet, and I might not. They say that actions speak louder than words, but without words, what meaning does any action carry? I'd like to let my words speak for me.
I won't ever forget you, Joie. Wherever you may be, I hope you know that.[/limegreen]

The same happened to me. I felt I was forgetting something important and today, I was doing a Religion test (in french) and in one of the qestions about emotions I wrote down Joie and then it came to me. I haven't lit a candle yet either but I will.
I miss you, Joie!
